HAMBURGER CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 -2 lbs. ground chuck
1 sm. onion
1 sm. can tomatoes or stewed tomatoes
4 med. peeled, raw potatoes
Oregano, parsley flakes, salt, pepper to taste

Brown hamburger with chopped onion until brown, pour off fat.

In 1 1/2 quart casserole dish (with cover), place half the hamburger/onion mixture, sprinkle with oregano, parsley, salt and pepper.

Layer half the can of tomatoes on top of hamburger.

Cut potatoes into slices and lay on top, season with salt and pepper if desired.

Repeat another layer of hamburger/onions, tomatoes, ending with sliced potatoes.

Bake 400 degrees for 1 hour. (Cover for first half hour, uncovered for last half hour.) Serves 4. Good to make ahead, refrigerate, bake later.
