RHUBARB OATMEAL BARS 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter
3 c. rhubarb sauce
1/4 c. chopped walnuts

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease 9x13 inch pan. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Add softened butter and mix to coarse crumbs. Press half of mixture in pan. Spread sauce over. Top with crumbs and chopped walnuts. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Cool before cutting.

RHUBARB SAUCE:

1 lb. rhubarb, cut up
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cinnamon

Cook and cool. Thicken with cornstarch.
