EASY ROLLS 
3 c. scalded milk
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. oil
1 pkg. dry yeast
3 c. flour

Scald milk, add sugar and oil, then cool until lukewarm, add yeast and stir in flour to look like a batter. Cover bowl and allow the batter to rise to double its size. 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda Butter

Add flour, baking powder, salt and soda to batter. Mix and turn out on floured board and knead. Roll the dough out thin and cut with a biscuit cutter. Place a small slice of butter on cut roll, fold over and press down. When rolls have doubled in bulk, bake in a preheated oven at 425 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
