FRENCH CREAM CAKE 
6 egg whites
Pinch of salt
1 c. sugar

Beat whites until stiff and add salt and sugar.

6 egg yolks

Beat egg yolks and fold into beaten whites.

1 c. flour, sifted
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Fold in flour and baking powder to egg mixture. Bake at 250 degrees in ungreased 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake until done, cook a little and remove from pan and slice through middle for filling.

FILLING:

1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. flour
1 egg

Cook over medium heat and stir. When thick, remove from heat and add vanilla. Cool a little, spread over half of cake and put other half on top. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
