SALISBURY STEAK WITH MUSHROOM
SAUCE
 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms, drained
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. gravy master
1 c. water
1 beef bouillon cube

Mix meat, salt, pepper and shake into 4 patties. Spray frying pan with Pam. Broil patties in pan until not quite done. Remove from skillet and place on oven proof plate in 300 degree oven.

Meanwhile, put cornstarch and water in saucepan, stir with whisk, add bouillon; cook and stir until smooth and thickened. Stir gravy master into cornstarch mixture. Saute mushrooms for 2-3 minutes in grease from patties. Add mushrooms to gravy. Remove patties from oven and pour gravy over patties. Serve.
