STUFFED GREEN PEPPERS 
Remove the seeds and membranes from 4 green peppers and cook in boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove from water and sprinkle with salt. Cool.

STUFFING:

Saute in 2 tablespoons butter:

1 sm. onion, chopped
1/2 lb. hamburger
2 peeled and diced tomatoes

Add:

1 c. cooked rice

Season with salt and pepper. Stuff peppers and cover with grated cheese. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Raise oven to 400 degrees until tops are brown.
