HAMBURGER/BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger/or beef (cut in strips)
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
Few fresh mushrooms, sliced or sm. can
1 can mushroom soup
1 carton sour cream

Brown meat. Add dry onion soup mix with about 1/2 cup water. Simmer for an hour (or more if meat isn't tender). Add mushrooms (fresh or canned) and soup. Heat and cook slowly another half hour. Add 1 carton sour cream. Stir to blend thoroughly and cook 10 more minutes. Serve over noodles or rice.
