SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream together first 4 ingredients. Add sour cream. In separate bowl mix together last 4 ingredients together. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Pour half of the batter into greased tube pan. Sprinkle with half of topping (recipe follows). Pour in rest of batter and sprinkle rest of topping. Swirl with knife. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. brown sugar

Mix together.
