RITA'S PEA SOUP | |
1 lb. whole peas 3 med. carrots 3 med. potatoes Ham bone & chopped off ham leftovers, some fat Bring ham bone to boil for 1/2 hour, take out bone and cut off meat pieces, put back in water. Add first (peas, carrots, potatoes), peas first as they take 5 to 6 hours until soft to cooking stage, then add vegetables. Very good with Johnny Cake Cornbread. |
