2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
pinch of salt
1 stick butter
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. peanut butter
3 c. oatmeal
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 to 3/4 c. raisins (optional)

Combine sugar, cocoa, salt, butter and milk in heavy saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil. Remove from heat. Add peanut butter, vanilla and oatmeal. Mix well. Add raisins at this time, if desired in cookies. Drop by teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet or waxed paper. Cool.
