1 stick butter
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. quick oatmeal
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil for 3 minutes; butter, milk and sugar. While hot but off stove add; quick oatmeal, mixed well with cocoa and vanilla. Beat until cool enough to drop by teaspoonfuls on waxed paper or foil. Cool and serve.
