PUMPKIN SPICE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. butter
1 c. each granulated and dark brown sugar
4 eggs
2 c. pumpkin
3 c. sifted all purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
1/2 c. butterscotch chips

Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Blend in pumpkin. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately in thirds with milk, beating until smooth after each addition. Fold in nuts and chips. Turn into a greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Frost with cheese frosting.

FROSTING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 box confectioners powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and cheese. Add sugar until all is mixed. Add vanilla.
