BEEF JERKY 
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic salt (or powder)
1 tsp. liquid smoke
Round steak

Make marinade of these ingredients. Trim all fat from partially thawed meat. Cut in 1/8 inch strips across grain of meat. Marinade 1 hour. Stir frequently. Lay strips on oven rack or foil-lined broiler pan. Punch holes in foil.

Cook in 150-200 degree oven for 4 hours. Turn strips over after 2 hours in oven. Salt to taste when you flip meat strips over. Pat off beads of oil when done. Cool completely. Store in airtight container in cool, dry place. Lasts a long time (if not all eaten!).
