“BELLE'S CHOCOLATE CHUNK MACADAMIA NUT COOKIES” IS IN:

BELLE'S CHOCOLATE CHUNK
MACADAMIA NUT COOKIES
 
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 (12 oz. ea.) bags semi-sweet chocolate chunks
1/2 to 3/4 cup coarsely chopped Macadamia nuts

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Beat together butter, sugars, vanilla and cocoa powder. Stir in remaining ingredients and blend well. Place in refrigerator and chill for 30 minutes.

Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375°F until cookies are set, about 5 to 8 minutes (depends on size, but be careful not to over-bake).

Allow to cool slightly. Remove to cool completely on wire rack.

Variation: You can leave the Macadamia nuts out for plain chocolate cookies, if desired.
