WHITE CHOCOLATE BROWNIES 
2 (5 oz. ea.) bars white chocolate, divided
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder

Grease a 9-inch baking pan.

In saucepan over low heat melt butter and 1 bar white chocolate, stirring until well blended.

In large bowl, combine sugar, salt and eggs and beat at highest speed of mixer for about 4 minutes. Reduce speed to low and add melted candy bar mixture and extracts.

Sift together flour and baking powder, stir into candy mixture til just combined. Break up remaining candy bar and stir in.

Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 25 to 30 minutes.

GLAZE:

1 (1 oz.) sq. semi-sweet chocolate
1 tsp. shortening

Melt glaze ingredients together and drizzle over cooled brownies.

Makes 32 brownies.

Fear not! I didn't use the almond extract and they were still very good. Maybe with the almond they would have been fabulous, I'll have to repeat with the almond extract to compare.

Wow!! Very rich, kind of greasy... but the flavor and texture are incredible. Store it in the fridge and warm in the microwave, top with good quality vanilla ice cream - and then diet for a week.
