CHOCOLATE BROWNIES WITH PEANUT BUTTER CHIPS | |
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 3/4 cup unsalted butter* 1 cup flour 1 1/2 cups sugar 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt* 3 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 cup special dark chocolate chips 1/2 cup Reeses chips Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter a 13x9-inch glass pan. In a microwaveable dish, melt 3/4 cup butter and 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, let cool. In a separate bowl mix all the dry ingredients. When the chocolate and butter mixture has cooled, whisk in the eggs and vanilla extract** Add the dry mixture and mix with a wooden spoon. Stir in 1/2 cup special dark chocolate chips and 1/2 cup Reeses chips. Pour batter in to prepared pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes. * if using salted butter, omit the 1/2 tsp of salt ** the mixture must be cool or the eggs will cook. Submitted by: Melonie Funderburk |
