SAUSAGE MILANO | |
3 Italian sausage links, about 6" to 7" (remove from casing) 3 tbsp. olive oil 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 sweet green pepper, chopped 1 sm. head cabbage, shredded 2 cloves minced garlic 3 tbsp. tomato paste 3 tbsp. water After removing sausage from casing scramble until brown lightly; drain well. In a skillet, combine olive oil, onion, green pepper. Fry a bit. Add cabbage and garlic, stir and cook about 5 minutes. Add to this the tomato paste and 3 tablespoons water and sausage mixture. Mix well. Cover and simmer for about 30 minutes. |
