CRANBERRY STEAMED PUDDING 
2 c. cranberries, cut in half
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. hot water
1/2 c. molasses
1 1/2 c. (reg.) flour

Put soda in water. Add molasses, stir well, then add flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt. Add cranberries and 1 cup nuts. Put in containers. Steam 1 1/2 hours. I put it in pressure cooker for 30 minutes.

SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 c. orange juice
1/2 c. half and half

Cook. Add cornstarch to thicken.

(Cranberry Steamed Pudding is a must for our Christmas dinner. It goes way, way, way back. It may be "old", but we all like it.)
