CRANBERRY STEAMED PUDDING 
3 c. cranberries (cut in half)
1 c. molasses
2/3 c. hot water
3 c. flour
4 level tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
2 eggs, well beaten

To the 3 cups of cranberries, add molasses, mixed with hot water. Sift together and add flour, soda, sugar, salt, cinnamon and cloves. Add eggs last. Mix well and transfer to well greased pudding mold. Cover and steam 2 1/2 hours. Serve hot with toffee sauce.

TOFFEE SAUCE:

2 c. sugar
1 c. cream
1/2 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla

Cook a few minutes and serve hot.
