SWISS STEAK 
3 lbs. Swiss steak
1 1/2 c. onion
2 c. ketchup
1 tsp. flour
1 1/2 c. green pepper
1 1/2 c. celery
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt

Flour well and beat flour in with side of saucer. Brown on both sides, then place in roaster. Add 1 1/2 cups water and bring to boil to loosen meat particles and pour over meat, don't loosen the brown on the meat; mix ketchup, etc. in bowl and pour on top of meat. Bake 3-4 hours at 350 degrees.
