OVEN SWISS STEAK 
1 1/2 lb. Swiss steak
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. Crisco
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 c. carrots, chopped
2 tbsp. onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes

Cut steak into serving pieces. Combine flour and salt and pound into steak. Save leftover flour. Brown steak in Crisco, transfer to baking dish. Blend leftover flour into pan drippings in skillet. Add vegetables and Worcestershire sauce and heat until mixture boils, stirring constantly. Pour over steak, cover and bake in 350 degree oven until meat and vegetables are tender, about 2 hours.
