Broiled Tuna Steaks

Never had Tuna Steak, so I wasn't sure how to prepare it. The only variation I made was using grapeseed oil. It's low in fat, but healthier when using very high temperature (broiling). I also put crushed tarragon leaves in the mixture. The Tuna was delicious! My husband doesn't particularly care for fish, and he enjoyed it too. Thanks!

I use grapeseed oil also with a little sesame seed oil to give it depth. NO soy sauce or ginger 4 me... garlic salt, coriander and top it with honey after turning!

I'm eating this right now, but charcoal grilled rather than broiled. Seriously tasty!

This is a great recipe for tuna steaks on the grill. The flavors blend nicely and are pleasing to the palate. When we have company coming who eat fish, I'll brew up this recipe and it's always a hit.

I used bottled spices just to try it out real quick. It tasted wonderful. Tuna was just a little pink inside and juicy. Cooked in a toaster oven and turned once on broil. Next time for company it's fresh everything and the grill. The yellow rice went well and different veggies.

Tasty perfection. This brings the tuna braised/cooked on outside and a little pink on inside... Delicious complement to tuna steak.

I am sure this recipe is delicious, and I LOVE tuna BUT at the price per lb. for tuna steaks, I want to taste the tuna, not the seasonings. I use a little salt and a lot of fresh cracked black pepper, a little smoked paprika and I hit it pretty hard with ground cayenne and then serve with drawn butter. The tuna flavor is right up front, enhanced but not covered up and absolutely delicious dipped in the butter. Sometimes less is better!

I made it per recipe and liked it very much. My wife doesn't like what she doesn't know, so she just nibbled around on it. I would certainly make it again for guests. It takes time to prepare everything, but it's a nutritous and delicious lunch or even light dinner entree.

I alter this here dish. Added some ground Ceylon cinnamon, Wasabi powder in the soy sauce, and coated in maple syrup! Served over mashed potatoes. Absolutely fantastic!
