BEST WHITE FRUIT CAKE 
5 lg. eggs
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 lb. to 1 lb. Glace cherries
1 lb. Glace pineapple
4 c. pecans, shelled
1/2 oz. bottle pure vanilla extract
1/2 oz. bottle pure lemon extract

Cream butter and sugar gradually, creaming well until fluffy. Add eggs well beaten with mixer. Chop nuts and fruit and mix with part of flour, sift remaining flour and baking powder together. Fold in nuts and flavorings and fruits mix well. Place in cold oven and bake 3 hours at 250 degrees.
