MARINATED VEGETABLE SALAD | |
1 stalk celery 1 lg. onion 1 (16 oz.) can French style green beans 1 (8 oz.) can sm. green peas 2/3 c. sugar 1/4 c. vinegar 1/2 c. salad oil 1 tsp. salt 1 pkg. slivered almonds, toasted Slice celery and onion. Add drained green beans and peas. Mix sugar, vinegar, salad oil and salt. Pour over vegetables and marinate for at least 24 hours. Just before serving add almonds. |
