LOW-FAT CRUNCHY BAKED CHICKEN | |
1 (8 oz.) bottle Western 98% fat free French dressing 1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper 1 1/2 c. corn flake crumbs 1 tsp. chili powder, divided 1/2 tsp. onion powder 8 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 2 lbs.) Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine Western dressing, green pepper, 1/2 teaspoon chili powder and onion powder in flat dish; reserve 1/3 cup sauce. Combine corn flake crumbs with 1/2 teaspoon chili powder in another flat dish. Dip chicken breast halves in the dressing mixture, then turn in crumbs to coat evenly. Discard excess dressing after dipping. Spray foil lined pan with non stick vegetable coating. Arrange chicken in a single layer on prepared pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked. Top with reserved dressing mixture. 8 servings. |
