PEACH PICKLE 
1 qt. water
1 pt. cider vinegar
6-7 c. sugar
Pickling spices
1 peck (2 gal.) peaches
2 doz. whole cloves
3 broken cinnamon sticks

Cook sugar, water, vinegar until moderately thick. Add peaches, cook until toothpick tender. Add hot peaches in jar and pour syrup over until peaches are covered. Seal.
