FROSTED CASHEW DROPS 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 c. sour cream
1 c. salted cashews, broken

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Sift dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream. Stir in nuts. Drop from teaspoon 2" apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned, do not over bake. Remove at once from pan. Cool and frost.

GOLDEN BUTTER ICING: Heat and stir 3 tablespoons butter until browned. Slowly beat in 2 cups sifted powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Makes about 4 dozen. cookies.
