MOCHA FROSTED DROPS 
1/2 c. shortening
2 (1 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Melt shortening and unsweetened chocolate. Cool 10 minutes. Stir in brown sugar; beat in egg, vanilla and buttermilk. Sift together dry ingredients and add to chocolate mixture. Stir in nuts and chocolate pieces. Drop from teaspoon. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool and frost.

FROSTING:

Cream 1/4 cup butter, 2 tablespoons cocoa, 2 teaspoons instant coffee and a dash of salt. Beat in 2 1/2 cups confectioners sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla and enough milk for spreading consistency.

For the frosting, I used 1/2 cup butter, 3 tbs of instant mocha chocolate cocoa, half a K-cup (brewed) coffe, squirt of vanilla extract, and 3 1/2 cups of powdered sugar. No milk. I used what I had and it turned out excellent!
