FROSTED SOUR CREAM DROPS 
3 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1 c. dairy sour cream

Cream butter and sugar, beat in eggs, add flavoring. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Blend. Chill dough. Drop level tablespoon full 2 inches apart and greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool. Spread tops with butter frosting.

BUTTER FROSTING:

1/4 c. butter
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
Dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
2 tbsp. milk or cream

May be tinted different colors for holiday seasons.
