FROSTED CHOCOLATE DROP COOKIES 
1 c. Crisco
2 c. brown sugar

Cream above ingredients. 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted 2 tsp. vanilla

Add to cream mixture. 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda

Sift together and add to above mixture.

Add a little at a time to cookie dough.

Drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes in 350 degree oven.

FROSTING:

2 tbsp. cocoa
Hot coffee
1 lg. tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. powdered sugar

Mix all ingredients except coffee. Add coffee to frosting mixture until spreading consistency. Not too stiff. Frost cookies while they are warm.
