2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. soft butter
3/4 c. molasses
1 c. applesauce
3/4 c. raisins
1 egg

Combine dry ingredients in bowl, cut in the butter, add molasses, egg and applesauce. Beat well, stir in raisins. Bake in greased 8-inch square pan at 375 degrees for approximately 35 minutes.
