SOUR CREAM PEACH PIE | |
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell and pastry strips 7 or 8 peaches, peeled and sliced 1/3 c. flour 1 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. sour cream 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 2 tbsp. sugar Slice the peaches into a large bowl. In a medium size bowl, blend together the flour, sugar, and salt. Stir in sour cream. Pour mixture over peaches; coat well. Pour into pie shell. Arrange strips over peaches. Sprinkle mixture of 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 2 tablespoons sugar over the top. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce to 350 degrees and bake 40 minutes. |
