NOODLE AND MEAT CASSEROLE | |
1 (8 oz.) pkg. flat noodles 1 (8 oz.) pkg. sliced cheese (more, if desired) 1/2 c. cream 2 c. cooked chopped meat (turkey, chicken, beef or pork) 1/4 c. (1 stick) butter 2 slices bread Cook noodles according to package directions. Arrange in greased casserole dish layers of noodles, meat and cheese. Dot each layer with butter. After last layer of cheese, top with 2 slices (or more) of bread that have been soaked in cream. Pour remaining cream on top. Bake in pan of hot water until brown on top at 375 degrees. |
