BUTTERSCOTCH CHOW MEIN COOKIES 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
1 c. peanuts
1 lg. can chow mein noodles

Melt butterscotch chips in double boiler. Add peanuts and stir. Add chow mein noodles, stir, trying not to break noodles until covered with mixture. Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper and let set at room temperature. You can use chocolate chips in place of butterscotch chips if preferred.
