CHERRY CHIP COOKIES 
6 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. cherries, chopped
1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Mix ingredients except nuts. Chill dough 30 minutes. Form into 12 balls, roll in nuts. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with glass bottom dipped in sugar. Bake in 375 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
