REFRIGERATOR ROLL DOUGH 
1 pkg. yeast
1 c. warm water
1/4 c. sugar
3 1/2 to 4 c. flour
2 tbsp. oil
1 tsp. salt
1 egg

Dissolve yeast in water. Add sugar, salt, egg, and oil, mix well. Add 1 1/2 c. flour. Beat until smooth batter forms.

Add 1 cup flour. Mix until dough forms, add remaining flour, 1/4 cup at a time until dough is soft, but not sticky. Knead on surface floured with 2 tablespoons flour until smooth. Air bubbles should be visible. Place in a bowl greased with shortening. Refrigerate 1 to 24 hours or let rest 5 to 10 minutes. Shape into desired shape.

Place in an oven which has been warmed, then turned off, for 5 minutes. Remove from oven. Preheat oven to 375 degrees then bake for 15 to 20 minutes until brown and done.

Makes 12 dinner rolls or 1 pizza or 12 cinnamon rolls.
