BASIC DOUGH ROLLS 
1 c. milk
3 tbsp. butter
3 to 3 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 egg

In saucepan melt butter. Add milk, heat until very warm. In large bowl blend 1 cup flour, sugar, salt, yeast and eggs. Add milk. Blend at low speed until moist. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Stir in remaining flour until soft dough forms. Knead dough on floured surface 2 minutes.

Place dough in greased bowl. Turn greased side up. Cover. Let rise in warm place until double in size, 45 to 60 minutes. Punch dough down. On well greased surface toss lightly with flour until not sticky. Make into rolls.
