DILLED SOUR CREAM CUCUMBERS 
4 med. cucumbers
1 tbsp. salt
3/4 c. sour cream
1 1/2 tbsp. white vinegar
2 tbsp. salad oil (do NOT use olive oil)
1/4 c. minced green onion
Salt
Freshly ground pepper
1 tbsp. minced dill
1/4 tsp. sugar

Pare and thinly slice cucumbers. Sprinkle with the 1 tbsp. salt. Let stand, 1 hour, room temperature. Drain, rinse well to remove salt, squeeze dry.

Combine sour cream, vinegar, salad oil, minced onion, sugar, salt and pepper. Pour over cucumbers. Cover and chill for one hour or more. Lastly, add dill just before serving, mixing well. Serves 4.
