DOUBLE LAYER CHOCOLATE PIE | |
1 small pkg. (4 oz.) cream cheese (softened) 1 tbsp. each milk and sugar 1 tub (8 oz.) cool whip whipped topping (thawed) 2 packages chocolate flavored instant pudding 2 cups cold milk 1 prepared chocolate flavor crumb crust (or you can make your own graham cracker crumb crust) Mix cream cheese, 1 tbsp. milk and sugar in large bowl with wire whisk until smooth. Gently stir in 1-1/2 cups of whipped topping. Spread on bottom of crust. Pour 2 cups cold milk into bowl. Add pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk until well mixed (mixture will be thick). Immediately stir in remaining whipped topping. Spread over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate 4 hours or until set. Garnish with additional whipped topping if desired. Store leftover pie in refrigerator. Makes 8 servings. |
