CHERRY PEEK 
1/2 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 can cherry pie filling

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Add vanilla and then flour; mix well. Spread 3 quarters of the batter in a greased 9"x13" pan. Spread cherry pie filling evenly on batter. Drop remaining batter by spoonfuls on cherry filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
