DON'T PEEK BEEF STEW 
2 lbs. cubed stew beef, don't brown.
Raw carrots, cut up
Potatoes, cut up
1 onion, sliced
1 sm. can mushrooms and juice
2 (16 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
1 1/2 tbsp. tapioca
1 tbsp. salt and pepper (or less)

Put everything into a small roaster. Mix well and cover. Bake for 5 hours at 250 degrees. Do not peek. This is good.
