CHEESE CAKE BARS 
1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 lg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 egg
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. lemon juice

In small bowl cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy; blend flour until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Stir in walnuts, reserving 1 cup crumbs for topping. Press into a greased 8 inch square pan. Bake for 12-15 minutes.

In large bowl beat 1/4 cup granulated sugar and cream cheese until fluffy. Add egg, vanilla, milk and lemon juice, beat until smooth. Pour over baked crust and sprinkle evenly with remaining crumb mixture. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool in pan. Cut into 16 squares.
