THANKSGIVING (TURTLE) CAKE 
1 German chocolate cake mix
1/3 c. evaporated milk
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. pecans
14 oz. pkg. Kraft caramels
1/3 c. evaporated milk
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
Cool Whip

Mix well: cake mix, evaporated milk, butter and pecans. Cook one half of the batter in a greased 9"x13" pan at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, melt 1 (14 oz.) package Kraft caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk and spread on top of the one half cooked mix. Over that sprinkle 1 (12 oz.) package chocolate chips. Spread the remaining one half of the batter over that and bake 20 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Just before serving, top with Cool Whip.
