OLD FASHIONED GINGER SNAPS 
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
4 tbsp. molasses
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
2 c. flour
Sugar

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Cream shortening and sugar.

3. Add molasses and egg and mix well.

4. Add baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger and flour and mix well.

5. Roll into balls and roll balls in sugar.

6. Place on greased cookie sheet.

7. Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
