Why standing? Can they be laid down?

Try doing this with 1/2 beef broth & 1/2 wine as liquid - with some Au Jus Gravy mix added to this. Add a little minced garlic. Heaven in a Crock-Pot!

Excellent recipe. Super easy, hardly any prep time and no pre-cooking. I did add an onion as other reviewers did (half on bottom, half on top), added a lot more BBQ sauce (1/2 a cup is not nearly enough) and I also added the cornstarch/water mixture.

I cooked the ribs for about 7 hours. I would probably do them for 6 hours next time.

All in all an absolutely delicious meal - one of the best crock pot recipes I've had to date.

My entire family loved them. In fact my 10 year old Grandson took home the gravy. Both grandsons one a teenager told my daughter to get the recipe.

I added some garlic powder and dried onion soup as well and paired it with mashed potatoes. My first attempt with the crock pot and it was super! It made the family favorite list.

I added garlic and a can of beer instead of water. My family thought it was very good.

It was very good the meat was tender but you needed to add about a cup of barbecue sauce.

I cut the recipe in half with no problem. I used a garlic BBQ sauce and added a large onion. 1 hour befor serving added a slurry of 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp water to thicken the sauce and served the sauce over noodles. lovely dinner

This is a excellent recipe, my family enjoyed every bite. The meat fell right off the bone and the flavor was great. You may need to add more barbeque sauce after meat is done.
