PASTA FASCIOLE (ITALIAN BEAN SOUP) | |
1 jar spaghetti sauce (Ragu 48 oz.) 1 can white kidney beans (drained) 1/2 lb. Ditalini noodles (can put more if using larger crock or pot) Durkee's Hot Sauce (to taste) Garlic salt 1 lb. ground beef 1 pkg. pepperoni (3 to 4 oz.) Italian seasoning Pepper Brown ground beef with seasonings, and put in large pot with other ingredients, except hot sauce. Fill with water and simmer until pasta is done. Add water as it cooks down. You may substitute any white bean, such as pinto or great northern. Any type of pasta may be used and any size jar of spaghetti sauce. Good served with buttered Italian garlic bread. |
