BASIC MICROWAVE BROWNIES 
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat together eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla about 1 minute, until light.

1/2 c. (1 stick) melted butter
1/2 c. cocoa
3/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1 c. nuts

Add butter. Mix in flour and cocoa at low speed. Stir in nuts. Spread evenly in 8 inch square dish (greased). Microwave on high 6 minutes, rotating dish 1/4 turn every 2 minutes. Cool before cutting. Rich and delicious!

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.

Thanks for this recipe, I lost my microwave cook book. This is the exact recipe! But, I used light brown sugar in place of sugar, and I used special dark cocoa. They came out even better!
