PORK CHOPS AND SAUERKRAUT 
6 pork chops
1 lg. can sauerkraut
6 potatoes, peeled & cut in fourths
Garlic powder
Salt & Pepper
Paprika

Sprinkle pork chops with garlic powder and paprika, brown on both sides. Put them in a pot. Do the same with the potatoes and sauerkraut. Add salt and pepper. Simmer until potatoes are done.

As a Hungarian I can tell you one thing about this recipe, NEVER put the paprika on the meat before browning, ever! Paprika burns very quickly, withing seconds at high heat and becomes very bitter. AFTER you brown the meat, sprinkle with paprika. Do the same with the potatoes and sauerkraut but please do NOT brown paprika.
