BAKED PORK CHOPS WITH SAUERKRAUT | |
6 pork chops 3 tbsp. drippings or oil 2 tbsp. mustard 2 tbsp. brown sugar 2 lg. apples, cored and sliced 1/2 inch thick 1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, rinsed Brown pork chops on both sides in drippings. Blend mustard with brown sugar; spread on chops. Arrange apple slices over chops; cover with sauerkraut. Bake, covered, in square casserole at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until chops are tender. Garnish with apple wedges if desired. Bake potatoes at the same time. |
