PORK CHOPS WITH SAUERKRAUT 
6-8 pork chops
2 (16 oz.) cans or 1 lg. can sauerkraut
1 tsp. caraway seeds
1 apple, sliced

Lay pork chops in glass baking dish or roasting pan in a single layer. Cover with sauerkraut with juice from cans. Sprinkle with caraway seeds. Lay sliced apple on top. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for about 45-60 minutes until tender. Serve with mashed potatoes.

Excellent preparation of bone in pork chops - I had two, and initially browned them in a skillet, then covered with sauerkraut and baked. It was truly a moist, delicious pork chop!
Didn't have time for the carraway or apple but will try them another time. Chops were about 3/4" thick.
